Measuring My Favourite Cup

On the 27 of August I had to measure my favourite cup but before that I had to get my stuff ready so I got the measuring cup, my favourite cup and water I put the water in my favourite cup and I had to put it to the top and then I had to put the water from my favourite cup into the measuring cup. After that I had to go on a slide and answered the question, for my measure from my favourite cup my favourite can hold up to 240 milliliter. After that I want to measure my mum and dad favourite cup and their favourite cup can only hold up to 300ml. I had fun measuring my favourite cup and also my mum and dads, you can give it a try if you want it is really fun to do.

Matariki celebration

On Friday At  Glen Innes school they were making and drawing Matariki things when everything was ready the school went to every class and every class had to share something they did for Matariki. When I went with room 11 we went to room 10 and they told us there Waka and their stars, then we went to room 9 and they did stars that had written the Matariki names. After room 9 we went to room 8 and they had stars and other matariki thing too then we went to room 7 and they had Matariki stars that were made out of wool and sticks when we were looking a boy named John show us how they made it and how to do it  then we went to room six. when we finished with room six we went on to the little kids side to see what they did for Matariki the first class we went to for the little kids side  was room 2 and 3 they showed us what they did and then showed what thing they use for there work. after that we went back to class.

When the lunch bell rang we went to the hall to have some hangi, when we were in the hall my class had to sit in a circle and wait for the hangi to be ready. Once it was ready every class had to go and get their hangi and milk when my class went up we had to get in a line, when I got my hangi and milk I sat next to my friend Sam. when we were having our hangi I was looking around to see if my mum came it was a while until I saw her but by the time I saw her I was almost finished. When I was finished with my hangi and milk I wanted to say hi but the teacher told me to play outside, so when I went outside I saw one of my friend so I went to him, when I was going to him he saw me and then he was coming to me. When we were close to each other my friend saw someone take left over hangi to the bin so when my friend saw it he went to see if there was any meat in it when he was checking but didn't find any but when he open the last one he found meat in it. When he found it he gave half to me

When we finished our meat we went on the court and started to play soccer. When the bell went we line up on the court and waited for the teachers to stop talk, once she stop talk she let us go to our class, when we got to class we line up near the door. When all of us were at the door we went out of class and went to the hall, when we got to the hall we went to sit down I went to get ready to perform, once everyone was in the hall I went up stage with the maori group and started peopfroming. Once we finished performing we got off the stage and got change into our school uniform, when we were ready we went back to class. I like the Matariki celebration and I wish we can do it againm
