Persuasive Writing

Today I have being writing which is better dogs or cat I think that dogs are better than cats here's why.


I think that dogs are better than cats because dogs can make you laugh but cat can’t make anyone laugh, you can take your dogs for a walk and it will keep you fit it is good for older people too. What do you like about dogs my favourite things about dogs is that dogs will protect you from people that want to attack you.

I’m sure that dogs will miss you when you are gone but cats won’t care because they will think that you are gone for a long time. Dogs are used for sniffing out drugs at the airport and use to find missing people and bomb dogs have nice fur that you like to hug. Dogs like to sleep with people it nice for other people because you can sleep with them.

Second, dogs can help blind people with their walking because some dogs help blind people when they are walking they can get old people stuff they are useful to old people dog make sick people calmed because when people visit with their dog sick people like to touch them and then when they slowly pat them it will calm them down.

I know that people can teach dogs tricks like sit or lie lay down.You can play with dogs but cats they  will  just lay down.Dog like to run and dogs like to get fit that will help you get fit too.dog will help other animals but cats will l stare at the animals.


I think that dogs are better than cats because they can save other people's lives and dogs live too. Dogs like to play with other dogs when they play with each other, you get to meet new dogs and people. Dogs like to play with people when you get old you may not want to live but dogs help people live longer, even when you get old.I like dogs they are fun to play with.

A Haiku

Kia ora this week room 10 as been learning about haiku and how to make a haiku. A haiku
is a poem that can rhyme but it does have to rhyme a haiku is about nature it can be
anything about nature it can be about the sea the forest the desert it can be anything about
nature. The first and last line has to have 5 syllables and the second line has to have
7 syllables and you listen an it is a japanese poem to my screencastify

Hamburger Writing

I firmly believe that “Fortnite” is bad for you and should be banned because playing  “Fortnite” for a long period can hurt your eyes. If you have no eyes you can’t see and life is hard without your eyes.

They will have a sedentary lifestyle that can lead to sickness because they are spending too much time playing “Fortnite” and not exercising. They will have to tell their wives to go and get their food but if their wives wouldn’t  get their food the men will push their wife.


They will try and get the person off “Fortnite” because they lose to “Fortnite”. They will get fat and they will spend all their money on other stuff like v-bucks than their family and they not having enough family time and friend time too.

In conclusion I firmly believe that “Fortnite” should be banned because they are not having relationship and friendship. People are not having fresh air and they are sacrificed family time

Carnivorous Plants

This is a carnivorous plant. Carnivorous plants are plants that eats insects one of them is called a pitcher plants . It is a another way to say a jug and it looks like a jug too how it catch insect is when the insect goes inside it will fall into water and it will try to get up. The pitcher plants has some hair the points down so when the insect try to climb up but the pitcher plant has hair so they can  hurts the insect. Then the insect will fall into the the water because they are tired.Then they will start to break down and if they can't find food they will have to use photosynthesis to make there food but they don't want to.

Basic Fact End of Term Results

This term on prototec I am on stage seven. At the start of this term I was on e6, e6 is when you finish your test for prototec and if you are lower than 50 percent you will get a e6 but if you are higher you just get a 6. I being practicing prototec but at the start of the year when we had to go back to the school we had to go on timed on stage four. Now I am on stage seven it was a long time to get on stage seven I got 77 percent on stage seven at they end of term three I would like to be off stage seven

Explain photosynthesis

photosynthesis is how plants manufacturer their own food but do you know how they do it.How they do it is when the roots xylem sucks in the minerals the minerals will go up the stem.Then it will go in the leaves but the leaves take in CO2 and take out O2 so  when it take in CO2 it will use the minerals and the sunlight does are the things that it needs inside the leaves they have chlorophyll. Chlorophyll are the stuff that make the plants glucose, glucose are the plants food but if there is no sun the chlorophyll can't make food that why you in winter they have no leaves but autumn tells them to get ready for winter so when winter comes they go to sleep but if it summer they make their food. So when the leaves finish making its food it will go up a straw called phloem when it goes up the phloem and to the rest of the part of the plants

Basic Facts

This week I have being doing Prototec. Prototec is a site where can do you stage, for my Prototec I am on stages seven timed it is hard doing Prototec when I started I was on stage four. When I kept on trying I was more levels I just got on stage seven today I tried three  time to get it right. My first time I got 80 percent on my second try I got 90 percent and on my last time I got 95 percent it is hard on stage seven but I will keep on try to get off stage seven on stage six I got two wrong it was on the second to last

How does seed grow?

This term we have being learning about seed there is so much about plants and seed flower can make pollen and it has difference parts to make pollen did you now there is a male and a female part of flower

Reading Stamina

This week Room 10 has being doing reading stamina. Reading stamina is reading for extended period of time. How we do it is to focus and concentration if you what to do it you have to get a book and go on the a document and use voice typing when you are reading.You have to do it everyday.

All About Me

Kia Ora my Name is Ngapera m`y age is 9 years old my year level is 5 the school that I attend is Glen Innes School. The thing that I like is playing games and watching television and movies the thing that I dislike is cleaning and doing my homework.My Favourite colour is red and my favourite sport  is rugby I have two brothers my position in the family is the oldest. In the future I would like to be a rugby playing.

Buddhist Temple

Room 10, 11, 6 and 7 were going to the buddhist temple we went on two bus it was a long drive I bet that some people went to sleep. when we got there we went off the bus and went to people the had number there were one, two, three and four they told us to get in lines but the teacher told them that they can get in there room number so I was in room 10 so we were number two they told us something and then we went in side. When we went in side there was a big buddha that was on his knee when we walk past it and went outside we went to this room where there were writing that were difference then there was a person that told us to seat down then they told us that we were watching video.After we out side to a place how they writing it was hard for me after we went outside to do something to a grass then they told us to seat down. we close our eyes and after we went to see the police they told us what there job was then they asked us how wanted to do a play six people put their hand up it was fun watching them do a play after the play a teacher to hand cops a kid and the police said yes after we went back in the bus and went back to school I enjoy going there I had fun.

Goal setting

Kai Ora. I was learning how to use screencastify and this is my goal setting for reading, writing and math. I used screencastify for the first time. Screencastify is  when we want to record yourself on a chromebook and you can put your recording on a your blog.

Meeting the Teacher day

On Thursday it was Meet the Teacher day so when school was over we had to go home and get. Chane and came back to school with you mum or dad but I had go to skids so we had to do fun stuff but there was kids playing on the park so when I was in skids I was just playing chair tag if you have not hear it a game that you can play with a lot of people to play it you have to get half of the people that you have to get chair so when we were playing chair tag it was fun  but people start to cry so we stop playing then my dad came he asked where my teacher so we went to our class but she was not there so we were going home but when we got dad asked if we what some sauce so we say yes so we went back in glen innes school and we went to get some sauce then my dad asked were my teacher we said we don't no so we look for the teacher then we saw my l brother teacher so we went over while my dad was talking to my dad we were waiting for our sauce.When we got our sauce my dad was almost done talking when they finish we went to look for my teacher so when we found my teacher my dad was talking to her but me and my brother was just eating our sauce when we finish with our sauce we went to told dad when we lined up boss got told to more away because he had one so we went out of the line so we went back to dad and he was finish with my teacher so we told him so we went to the bench and then dad download schoolloop app then it was Time for the rafe the first one was the food then it was the some bags then it was the sctoor after we went to my dad and after a while we went on the park then my dad call us then we went to him and he said time to go home so we go in the car and went home it was fun I enjoy it I wish that we can have it again. 

Free lunch

On Wednesday we were going to get free lunch so were the lunch bell ring we ling up at the door then we got told to go on the  wall then we went in the hall. when the blackmores women gave us our lunch we went on the big oak tree and ate our lunch

 in our lunch there was a wrap and cookie, an apple and rice crackers the first thing I ate was the cookie then the rice crackers after the rice crackers I ate the apple then the wrap the wrap was yummy because it had ham and cut up carrot and salad it was yummy then Mr Steve  came and people ask so Mr steve gave it to them then people didn't not like the wrap so I eat it after when we were done we had to rip our box and put it in the paper bin then We had a bit of a play were the bell ring we ling up and went to class when we was doing our work we got free ice cream and the name of that company was haagen daz then ice cream was so yum and the people that made the lunch was call Eat My Lunch I felt happy

Swimming

Today we went swimming. it was fun because we went into the pool and the pool was nice and cool and it make us cool down and I Like swimming because the coaches help us learn how to swimming. we learn to swim because when you drown you can swim up so that why I like swimming because you can save your life. So it is good to swim because when you swimming it good to get you toges to school.
