Duffy show

On Tuesday  all of the student in Glen Innes School went to the hall for the most exciting show, well for the junior. When we went into the hall we had to sit into our class seat and wait until the show started while we were waiting I was talking to my friend as we were talking classes were getting into their seat and as we were talking the show was about begin. When it was  about to begin everybody had to be quiet and let the duffy people talk.

When the people from Duffy was talking they said that we had to sing the Duffy song so when the music started play we all started sing and so we sang alone with the Duffy people. When the song finished they started to do the show and they told us what the show was all about and it is about when a person named Bex want to buy a coggin and a coggin is a animal that is mix with a cat, don and a chicken . When the show was playing there were times where people were laughing and there times where people told the Duffy people where to go  but the most funny one I had was when I saw the coggin lay a egg. When the Duffy show ended They asked us if we had any question, when the question was all done we were allowed to go back to our class.

My dream Holiday

 When it comes to the holidays I want to go to the beach for christmas and have  a huge bbq, we could sleep in the tent in Mission Bay and we could swim in the water. For my holidays I wished that we could go to a big pool and there would be big slides and short lines. When we finished coming back to the beaches or pools I would like to play secret santa and christmas games and I could go to the park with all my friends. In my dream holiday I would like the covid-19 to go away so that my family and I can be as happy as a dog and so that my family can go somewhere fun like laser tag, Rainbow end and more but we can't go because of covid-19. In my dream holiday I want to go somewhere that is nice and relaxing for my family and I hope that my family would like it too. That's what I want for my dream holiday.

Water Safety

 On Thursday Room 11 had a special lady coming to their class and her name is Whaia Moe and she come to our class to talk about water safety and what thing we could use when we are in trouble. So when she come into our class she was talking to use about her and what to do when we have question, once she was finished we started talking about water. The thing we are talking about water is how people call for help so what she did she told us to lay down so that what all of us did then she told us when we are struggling in deep water and if we need to call for help. When we are doing it she said that if we are struggling our core can help us and then she told us to pull our knees up and put our shoulders and head up.

When we did this she said that it is good for our core, it was kinda easy for me but I could tell that other people was struggling. Once we were done with that we move on with a type of game that was dangerous and we talk about it but after we talk about it she told us a sad story about a boy that die because of his two friends. After that story we move on to a different subject and it was about ribs and how dangerous it can be so when she was talking to us about rib she asked everybody a question and said that she will let us think about it. Once everybody has got to there groups she said something to everybody and then after that she had to go.  I like it, it was fun.

Dance and Movement

On Tuesday room 11 went to dance class so we had to go into the hall for it. When we got to the hall we had to sit down in the semicircle, when all of the students was in the semicircle she started off by asking us to call her Mrs G after she finished saying that she told us to get into pairs and make up a four step handshake and to remember it. When all the student knew their handshake she told us to tell our partner that they were number one, when we did that she said to go and find another partner, when we did she told us to make a new one, when we did we had to find another partner but she wanted us to mixes with the girls so I went with one and she wanted us to use our feet and jump and turn. so I thought of one and said it to her and then we try doing it, when we did it when remember it so then she said that we were going to play a game.

When we were ready to play the game she explain how the game work. When we all understood  we started to play the game when she called out a number we had to go to the partner that we had. When she finished playing the game she wanted us to get into partner so when I got into one she asked us how we did in lockdown, when we told her what we felt in lockdown she started writing words on the board when she was done she told us to pick three words and then make action that like the words but she used this word called locomotor and it means that it had to be still. I went with my partner and we were going to do angry, sad and surprised, when we were doing it we only had about 1 to 2 minutes so when the timer was up we had to sit down and listen to what she had to say so when she was done we had to stand up and show the class what we had practise. After we show the class we had to sit down again.

When all the students was sitting down she told us what she wanted and then we had to do it some of the word she said was repetition and the meaning of that was repeat the move twice and non locomotor and that means that we can move around and the last one was retrograde and that means to do it backwards. When she was done my partner and I was practising our move but we did it quickly because we only had 1-2 minutes so when we were done we still had some time left so we just sat down because we were exhausted, when the time was up all the students had to sit down and listen so when she was done we had to go back to class because the bell rang. I like dance class it was fun.

Blame Flairly!!!

On Tuesday in Glen Innes School room 11 had this programme called Bounce back. Bounce Back is a programme that helps people when they are feeling down. So they came with two people named Michelles. Michelles Was teaching us how to Blame Fairly so they talked about what they taught us before and what are we learning now. After they had finished they had given us an explanation of how blaming fairly can help with you and other people and also they brought up bad luck, they said that bad luck can happen and you don't need to blame yourself.


When they finished with that they gave us a scale to 1 to 10 about how we did in Second Lockdown so they went to every kid in the the class and every had to answered so when they came to me I said, " 1." the reason why is because I missed my family and I got bored. Once every kid had answered they had gavin us a piece of sheet with question so when everyone had a piece of sheet we all began to write our answer. When we all were done, they had readed us a short story and the story was about two friends that were in the same basketball team so when they were playing other people they had lost by two points and so after the matches t]one of the friend was saying that it was his fault and other friends said that it was two other players because they had came late and they didn't play well and  because there star player didn't showed up because she was sick and couldn't come. when they were done they asked us what was the different when they lost the game everyone knew the answer. When they were done it was time to have lunch so we packed up and went outside. I liked it, it was fun.

Measuring My Favourite Cup

On the 27 of August I had to measure my favourite cup but before that I had to get my stuff ready so I got the measuring cup, my favourite cup and water I put the water in my favourite cup and I had to put it to the top and then I had to put the water from my favourite cup into the measuring cup. After that I had to go on a slide and answered the question, for my measure from my favourite cup my favourite can hold up to 240 milliliter. After that I want to measure my mum and dad favourite cup and their favourite cup can only hold up to 300ml. I had fun measuring my favourite cup and also my mum and dads, you can give it a try if you want it is really fun to do.

Doctor Seuss message about life

I highly like this book because it is about you feeling and sometime it has some ideas to cheer yourself up it has some message to tell you so I hope you like it. Life is like a roller coaster because it has ups and down. To fix it you just need the right space to cheer you up another way is to be with your family. When you play with your friends and you are the winner sometimes you loser and your friends start to walk away and you start to feel sad. When you are sad you start to have bad thought in you head and those thought sometimes ask you why is this happening to me. When you start to have bad thought it start to make you feel more and more sad and then you start to be very sad but remember you need the right space and the right people to be with you. So when you are feeling sad just try to cheer yourself up.

Why I draw this Pegasus: I drew this Pegasus because I felt like I want to know how to draw this and because if I had one I would like to fly around. Why did I draw this  is that I wanted to act like this is my pet and because I want to know if the pegasus was a god or not and know cool fact about it. so that why I drew this, I like this but I hope you do too.

Mother day

On Saturday we were at my dad's house with my brothers. We were preparing for mother's day for my mum so for her gift we were making food for her. We each took turns to make my mum's food. First it was my brother Tavita who was going to make raw fish with coconut cream and my dad helped. A few minutes later they were finished it didn’t talk them long to finished so when they were done we got to tasted it to see if it was nice and it was delicious so we got a bowl each when we were finished it was my turn and I was making donuts it was my first time making donuts but luckily my dad had a the right food to make donuts so we started making it it took a while but we finally got it. 


We had to wait about an hour and a half to make the donuts while me and my dad were waiting. My dad and my brother did their food so they didn’t take that long to finish. so my dad did his one too when he was done we looked at our donut and it looked ready so we put it on the table and we started making donut shapes. I was cooking them and I was making them. It didn’t take long so we finished fast then we had a taste and I liked it so we packed some donuts and other for her and then my dad gave her the bag then we went back to dad's house. We video call her too see if she likes it after that I was happy because she likes it.


 In the afternoon we went to my house. We were doing some house work but it didn’t take that long. After we wrote a mother day card to my mum the next day we had everything ready to give to mum but we had to have breakfast first and we gave mum breakfast in bed after we did breakfast we gave mum her mothers day gift and she loved it. So that what I did for mother day and my mum love it

I would rather stay home and do school work

I would rather stay home because it is safer, also it is better staying home and doing your school work because so your parents can help you when you need it. It is good staying home because your parents will worry about how you're going to get the covid-19 and if you get it they can't be with you. It is good to stay home because that is how you can keep safe from the covid-19. It is a really good ideas because the government told us to keep to you home schooling but only for Student's parent have to go to work

My choices is that stay home can help stop this covid-19 and when you go to school someone might have it and then we have to be in lockdown for longer and then you will get bored. It is better to stay home so you can spend a lot of time with your family, also because so that we can meet each other more insteads of staying home and just talking with them thought the screen 

So if I had a choices of going back to school or staying home and learn from home I would like to stay home and learn from school

My best friends

My best friend is jaylove and the reason why is that we were friends when we were in room two another reason is that he is fun to play with sometime he does silly thing but it's funny to jaylove is my best friends is because we're best buddies and we like to talk to each other sometime and because I like playing with him in new games because he act funny when he plays it. Another thing is that we act like close friends.


Jaylove is cool but he always plays with others and sometimes we don’t play with each other but we're cool with it. We like to play with each other sometime and we even ask each other if we would like to join. The funny part is that sometimes Jaylove makes me laugh and because when I walk alone I sometimes see him get chased by some girls. Sometimes I like to join too. He can make up some cool game but most of the time we say not to because in our heads we can tell not to play with it Sometimes we like to walk with each other but most of the time we play with our other friends and that alright when we come up with a game we try to make the most of it before


Jaylove gets chased by the girls again so when we line up we like to give each other a high five. When we walk to class we like to talk about what we did in morning tea and if it was cool we ask if they like to join sometime we say yes but when we have something else to do we say no. So that is my best friend and That why he is my best friend and I hope he picks me too. I like my friends and as a friends and I like it

Back to School

 On Wednesday, February the 4 school started again. I didn't want school to start because I had an amazing holiday because I went to the Pools, I went to Rainbows end, and even I did Nerf war. So when I got to school we had to sit under the Oak tree. When the bell rang all of the student's sat under the oak tree to see the principal. When he came he said a nice speech and then he said which class we were in. When my name was called, I stood and walk beside my teacher when all of the student's Names were call up we walk to our classroom and went inside. When we got our class our teacher introduced himself
