Persuasive Writing

Today I have being writing which is better dogs or cat I think that dogs are better than cats here's why.


I think that dogs are better than cats because dogs can make you laugh but cat can’t make anyone laugh, you can take your dogs for a walk and it will keep you fit it is good for older people too. What do you like about dogs my favourite things about dogs is that dogs will protect you from people that want to attack you.

I’m sure that dogs will miss you when you are gone but cats won’t care because they will think that you are gone for a long time. Dogs are used for sniffing out drugs at the airport and use to find missing people and bomb dogs have nice fur that you like to hug. Dogs like to sleep with people it nice for other people because you can sleep with them.

Second, dogs can help blind people with their walking because some dogs help blind people when they are walking they can get old people stuff they are useful to old people dog make sick people calmed because when people visit with their dog sick people like to touch them and then when they slowly pat them it will calm them down.

I know that people can teach dogs tricks like sit or lie lay down.You can play with dogs but cats they  will  just lay down.Dog like to run and dogs like to get fit that will help you get fit too.dog will help other animals but cats will l stare at the animals.


I think that dogs are better than cats because they can save other people's lives and dogs live too. Dogs like to play with other dogs when they play with each other, you get to meet new dogs and people. Dogs like to play with people when you get old you may not want to live but dogs help people live longer, even when you get old.I like dogs they are fun to play with.

A Haiku

Kia ora this week room 10 as been learning about haiku and how to make a haiku. A haiku
is a poem that can rhyme but it does have to rhyme a haiku is about nature it can be
anything about nature it can be about the sea the forest the desert it can be anything about
nature. The first and last line has to have 5 syllables and the second line has to have
7 syllables and you listen an it is a japanese poem to my screencastify

Hamburger Writing

I firmly believe that “Fortnite” is bad for you and should be banned because playing  “Fortnite” for a long period can hurt your eyes. If you have no eyes you can’t see and life is hard without your eyes.

They will have a sedentary lifestyle that can lead to sickness because they are spending too much time playing “Fortnite” and not exercising. They will have to tell their wives to go and get their food but if their wives wouldn’t  get their food the men will push their wife.


They will try and get the person off “Fortnite” because they lose to “Fortnite”. They will get fat and they will spend all their money on other stuff like v-bucks than their family and they not having enough family time and friend time too.

In conclusion I firmly believe that “Fortnite” should be banned because they are not having relationship and friendship. People are not having fresh air and they are sacrificed family time

Carnivorous Plants

This is a carnivorous plant. Carnivorous plants are plants that eats insects one of them is called a pitcher plants . It is a another way to say a jug and it looks like a jug too how it catch insect is when the insect goes inside it will fall into water and it will try to get up. The pitcher plants has some hair the points down so when the insect try to climb up but the pitcher plant has hair so they can  hurts the insect. Then the insect will fall into the the water because they are tired.Then they will start to break down and if they can't find food they will have to use photosynthesis to make there food but they don't want to.

Basic Fact End of Term Results

This term on prototec I am on stage seven. At the start of this term I was on e6, e6 is when you finish your test for prototec and if you are lower than 50 percent you will get a e6 but if you are higher you just get a 6. I being practicing prototec but at the start of the year when we had to go back to the school we had to go on timed on stage four. Now I am on stage seven it was a long time to get on stage seven I got 77 percent on stage seven at they end of term three I would like to be off stage seven

Explain photosynthesis

photosynthesis is how plants manufacturer their own food but do you know how they do it.How they do it is when the roots xylem sucks in the minerals the minerals will go up the stem.Then it will go in the leaves but the leaves take in CO2 and take out O2 so  when it take in CO2 it will use the minerals and the sunlight does are the things that it needs inside the leaves they have chlorophyll. Chlorophyll are the stuff that make the plants glucose, glucose are the plants food but if there is no sun the chlorophyll can't make food that why you in winter they have no leaves but autumn tells them to get ready for winter so when winter comes they go to sleep but if it summer they make their food. So when the leaves finish making its food it will go up a straw called phloem when it goes up the phloem and to the rest of the part of the plants
